Pirates promote Jacob Stallings with Francisco Cervelli headed to DL

The Pittsburgh Pirates swapped catchers on Wednesday, promoting Jacob Stallings from Triple-A Indianapolis due to Francisco Cervelli hitting the seven-day concussion disabled list. The call-up to the majors marks the first of the season for Stallings. He made his debut last June and fared quite well in the five games he played in last season. (FanRag Sports)
