Sylvia Hatchell's blueberry patch reflects her unending positivity

Back when Sylvia Hatchell bought 204 acres south of Black Mountain in 2000, she noticed blueberry bushes growing. Hatchell wanted to do something with them. “So, I thought, ‘I’ll put up a sign on a tree down there that says 'honor system' and tell people to write checks to the cancer center.’”. That sign, turned into something more than she could ever imagine.
