UNC's Sylvia Hatchell, UConn's Geno Auriemma earn 1,000th victory on same day

On Tuesday, Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma and North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell reached career milestones, as both recorded their 1,000th career victories. Auriemma did so by leading his Huskies to an 88-64 victory against Oklahoma; Hatchell, on Tuesday afternoon, led the Tar Heels to a convincing 79-63 victory against Grambling State to secure hers.
