As the clock ticked down on the Tar Heels' 79-63 victory over Grambling State, fans chanted "One-Thousand!" in celebration of Sylvia Hatchell's entrance into one of college basketball's most exclusive clubs. Hatchell then strolled to midcourt, and Myrtle Beach mayor John Rhodes handed her the microphone. "It's all because of them," said Hatchell, referencing her players.
