Virginia Holds Off UNC Women's Basketball, 82-70

Five double-figures scorers helped Virginia continue its best start in ACC play in eight seasons with an 82-70 victory over North Carolina on Thursday at John Paul Jones Arena. North Carolina had a balanced attack with four in double figures. Janelle Bailey had a game-high 21 points, followed by 18 points from Paris Kea and 14 each from Jamie Cherry and Taylor Koenen.
