Rested North Carolina pitchers to face busy Beavers
Posted Jun 24, 2006
Questions for the College World Series' championship series between North Carolina and Oregon State at Rosenblatt Stadium: Is Oregon State tired and burned out after playing its way through the loser's bracket with four games in four days? Or are the Beavers carrying an unstoppable momentum? Will North Carolina's deep pitching staff be even more effective with all the rest it has gotten? Or will the Tar Heels, who haven't played since Wednesday and are unbeaten in three games in Omaha, be stale?
