Diamond Heels Sweep Saturday Doubleheader to Take Series vs. Virginia

After being shutout in Friday’s series opener against Virginia in Charlottesville, the North Carolina baseball team crafted a perfect response Saturday, taking both games of a doubleheader to claim the series victory. The Tar Heels won the first game of the day 8-6 behind three hits apiece from Dallas Tessar and Ike Freeman. UNC never trailed during either game Saturday. (Chapelboro.com)
