UNC Suspends Preseason All-American Closer Josh Hiatt Indefinitely

Aaron Fitt, of D1Baseball.com, reported Thursday that UNC sophomore closer Josh Hiatt, a preseason All-American, has been suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. No other details were made available. So far this season, Hiatt has pitched in 17 games and tallied just three saves, posting an ERA of 2.67 over 30.1 innings out of the bullpen.
