Heels ready to make up for quick ACC exit

Dark clouds sparked by consecutive losses at the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament briefly shadowed Carolina's bright memories of being ranked No. 1 in the nation for a while this season. UNC won the ACC's Coastal Division and went to Jacksonville, Fla., for the conference tournament with realistic hopes of winning a championship. Two games later, the Tar Heels were taking an eight-hour bus ride home, their pride and reputation bruised and battered from back-to-back defeats to N.C. State and Florida State. (Tar Heel Daily)
