North Carolina Softball Falls to Pitt in ACC Tournament Semifinal


No. 3 seed North Carolina dropped the ACC Tournament semifinal contest to No. 2 seed Pitt, 3-0 on Friday in Atlanta. UNC threatened with runners in scoring position in the first few innings but Pitt's defense stood strong. Also logging a hit, UNC's Brittany Pickett went the distance in the circle with four strikeouts for her 32nd complete game of the season. (GoHeels.com)
