Dalatri's return adds ace to ACC's top team, depth to UNC rotation

North Carolina secured its first overall No. 1 seed in the ACC baseball tournament in five years on Saturday, and the Tar Heels also got ace Gianluca Dalatri back for the first time since Feb. 23 after he rested and rehabbed 12 weeks with a stress reaction in his throwing elbow. Most importantly, the sophomore righty felt confident in what he threw for the first time this season.
