Bett Shelby Named UNC Women's Basketball Coach, Recruiting Coordinator

UNC women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell announced the hiring of assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Bett Shelby on Tuesday. Shelby joins the Tar Heels from Maryland where she spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Shelby, a native of Charlotte, will coordinate all aspects of recruiting and work with the guards. (GoHeels.com)
