North Carolina Earns No. 6 National Seed, Opens NCAA Play At 2 P.M. Friday

North Carolina will be the No. 6 national seed and will host the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional starting Friday, June 1, at Boshamer Stadium, the NCAA announced Monday. UNC will battle North Carolina A&T on Friday at 2 p.m. before Purdue and Houston face off in the regional's nightcap game at 7 p.m. This is the 31st appearance for UNC in the NCAA tournament.
