Posted Jun 8, 2018
No. 6 national seed North Carolina relied on the long ball once again as Cody Roberts broke a tie with a three-run home run in the fifth inning and Michael Busch followed with a two-run shot in the seventh to catapult the Tar Heels past Stetson, 7-4, in Friday's Super Regional opener at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels and Hatters will meet for Game 2 at noon Saturday (ESPN2).
