Mike Fox, who played second base on the Tar Heels team that played in the 1978 CWS, has the Tar Heels back for the seventh time as their coach. They reached Omaha four consecutive years (2006-09), including losses to the Beavers for the 2006-07 national titles, but the drought since 2013 had been tough to take. "I'm unbelievably happy for these kids," Fox said.
