State-UNC battle gets all wet, resumes today

The only thing missing is an ending. With a pair of sensational pitching performances boosting both teams, N.C. State and North Carolina played 11-plus innings Saturday in a game that was long on excitement but short on resolution. Thunderstorms rumbled through Boshamer Stadium for a second time at 6:44 p.m., forcing the Wolfpack (31-11, 13-6) and the Tar Heels (32-8, 13-6) to postpone the payoff until noon today.
