Former UNC Men's Tennis Coach Don Skakle To Enter NC Sports Hall Of Fame Friday

Former longtime UNC men's tennis coach Don Skakle will be inducted posthumously into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, May 10. The NC Hall announced last December its Class of 2024. In 22 years under Skakle, the UNC men's tennis teams won 16 ACC championships outright and tied for two others. His teams posted a 418-55 record. (GoHeels.com)

UNC Women’s Tennis Wins, Men Lose in 1st Round of NCAA Tournament

The No. 4 overall seed North Carolina women’s tennis team cruised in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday at the Chewning Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, defeating Navy 4-0. UNC Women's Tennis To Host NCAA Regional Friday; Faces Navy In First Round

The North Carolina women's tennis team has been selected as a host school for one of 16 regional sites in the upcoming NCAA Tennis Championship. UNC will host Wisconsin, William & Mary, and Navy on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, at the Chewning Tennis Center in Chapel Hill.
