Joe Wolf leaving UNCW to take over G League’s Greensboro Swarm


UNCW men’s basketball assistant coach will be named head coach of the NBA G League’s Greensboro Swarm. The final assistant coaching hire for when he took over in Wilmington, Wolf has a long history in professional basketball. The 13th pick of the 1987 NBA Draft out of UNC, Wolf spent 11 seasons in the NBA, including one in Charlotte. (Wilmington Star News)
