Ashley Hoffman Named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player Of The Week

North Carolina senior Ashley Hoffman was named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. Hoffman, a senior from Mohnton, Pa., keyed UNC's defensive effort as the Tar Heels earned two shutout wins over the weekend. Playing in the Conference Crossover in Philadelphia, UNC beat No. 10 Princeton 1-0 on Friday and host Penn 8-0 on Sunday. (GoHeels.com)
