Going into Hall of Fame together, Charlie Scott, Lefty Driesell share long history

Charlie Scott's basketball career and life might have gone in a different direction if not for Lefty Driesell, who had started recruiting Scott during his junior year at the prep school equidistant from the Chapel Hill and Davidson campuses. “I think if there had never been a Lefty Driesell, there would never have been a Charlie Scott attending North Carolina,” Scott said.
