North Carolina entered Saturday's game against East Carolina in Greenville as 16.5-point favorites, badly in need of a win to prevent the season from getting derailed in September. Yet the Tar Heels not only lost, but were soundly defeated, 41-19. They left with an 0-2 record, and the outlook of not just the season -- but the UNC program as a whole -- in serious doubt.
