Ryan Burnett Excels In UNC Golf Debut, Olympic Sports Notebook

Freshman Ryan Burnett took third place and the North Carolina men's golf team finished second at the Rod Myers Invitational on Sunday at Duke. Meanwhile, men's soccer opened Atlantic Coast Conference play with a win over Pitt, field hockey won two games, women's soccer dropped two games on the West Coast and volleyball took part in the Buffs Invitational in Colorado.
