No. 1 UNC Field Hockey Shuts Out Appalachian State 6-0

The North Carolina field hockey team improved to 7-0 with a shutout win over Appalachian State Tuesday. Marissa Creatore and Erin Matson each scored twice in the 6-0 victory. The teams were scoreless 10 minutes into the game when thunder brought action to a halt. The delay lasted nearly two hours before the teams came back for a quick warm up and a restart of the game.
