Virginia Tech QB Josh Jackson Suffers Broken Left Fibula

Virginia Tech quarterback Josh Jackson will have surgery Tuesday, and his timetable to return is uncertain after suffering a left ankle injury in a 49-35 loss at Old Dominion. Tech coach Justin Fuente said Monday that Jackson has a broken left fibula, adding that redshirt junior Ryan Willis is the new starter. Jackson could return "maybe at the end of the year, maybe not," Fuente said.
