Ashley Hoffman named ACC Field Hockey Co-Defensive Player of the Week

North Carolina senior Ashley Hoffman has been named ACC Field Hockey Co-Defensive Player of the Week following the Tar Heels' 2-0 win at Duke on Friday. Hoffman, the team captain, anchors a Tar Heel defense that has earned five shutouts in eight games this season and has given up just three goals. She also shares the team lead in scoring with seven goals this fall. (GoHeels.com)
