Atlanta Falcons Sign LB Bruce Carter

Former UNC linebacker Bruce Carter was signed to the Atlanta Falcons active roster Tuesday, the team's website reports. Carter brings experience and depth to a Falcons' linebacker corps lacking Deion Jones (foot). The 30-year-old veteran has racked up 306 tackles, 20 pass defenses, five sacks, five interceptions and one touchdown during his nine years in the NFL.
