Clearly, the Brooklyn Nets saw something. Whether it was during pre-draft workouts or before that, during the ACC Tournament at Barclays Center, where he had a career-best 25 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in the quarterfinals, the Nets wanted Theo Pinson in some capacity despite not picking him at 29 or 40. They didn’t even wait until the night ended to call.
