5-star Trendon Watford talks timetable and Penny Hardaway

Reigning Alabama Mr. Basketball Trendon Watford , the 6-foot-9 5-star recruit from Mountain Brook, said he isn't anywhere near making a final decision about his basketball future. The NCAA's early signing period of basketball begins Nov. 14, but Watford said he intends to wait until the spring signing period, which begins April 17, 2019, to sign scholarship paperwork.
