An assistant high school girls basketball coach whose son plays basketball for North Carolina was among three people arrested Thursday in New York on charges they participated in a multimillion-dollar cocaine distribution network, police said. Daniel R. Green, 39, the father of UNC freshman Danny Green, who has worked as a teacher in the North Babylon School District and helped coach the girls' basketball team, was expected to be arraigned today on charges related to the drug scheme.
