UNC's blue-white scrimmage became more competitive in the final minutes. Kenny Williams, who led all scorers with 19 points, connected on a deep three to give the Blue team a two-point lead. Seventh Woods, who had several impressive moments, was fouled on a layup attempt at the buzzer and was given the opportunity to tie the game, but missed the first free throw attempt.
