Tar Heels dance way into new season

Amid the general silliness that surrounds much of Late Night With Roy for this annual event at the Smith Center, it was also a chance again to pay tribute to the coach Friday night. Williams was recognized for this summer’s naming of the arena’s court as Roy Williams Court, receiving a huge ovation. That’s what sophomore forward Sterling Manley will remember most.
