Cade Fortin Expected to Start vs. Virginia Tech

North Carolina true freshman quarterback Cade Fortin is expected to make his first career start against Virginia Tech on Saturday night, according to team sources. Fortin has been taking reps with the first team since the bye week. He replaces junior Nathan Elliott, who completed 75-of-129 passes for 773 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions in UNC’s first four games.
