Michael Carter Named ACC Running Back of the Week

North Carolina sophomore running back Michael Carter has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference running back of the week, as selected by a vote of a 15-member media panel. Carter rushed 18 times for a career-high 165 yards in Saturday night's 22-19 loss to visiting Virginia Tech. Carter, who averaged 9.2 yards per carry, also caught two passes for 19 yards. (The ACC)
