The latest on Cade Fortin and UNC’s quarterback situation

Sources around the UNC football program suggest that freshman quarterback Cade Fortin has suffered a season-ending leg injury. The good news is that he can count the 2018 season as a redshirt year and still have four years of eligibility. The bad news is that UNC won’t have him available in the coming weeks. Without Fortin, UNC will again rely on Nathan Elliott.
