Carolina Baseball Monday Notebook

After dropping its first series of the season at Georgia Tech last weekend, No. 8 North Carolina hopes to get back in the win column Tuesday against Charlotte at 6 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium. Redshirt freshman right-hander is slated to start for the Tar Heels (20-5). Carolina leads the all-time series with the 49ers, 23-5-1, and it swept the teams' two meetings in 2004, 12-5 and 8-5.
