Detroit Lions Release DT Sylvester Williams

The Detroit Lions have made the trade with the New York Giants for defensive lineman Damon Harrison official and are releasing defensive lineman Sylvester Williams in a corresponding move. Williams plays the same position as Harrison and was apparently redundant for the Lions roster. Williams is still an NFL level player and should latch on somewhere soon.
