Olive Branch star D.J. Jeffries, the No. 47 overall player in 247Sports' 2019 composite rankings, committed to Memphis on Saturday, ending a whirlwind recruitment that included a decommitment from Kentucky and late pushes by Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Alabama. Jeffries played for Penny Hardaway's Team Penny AAU club in 2017 and reneged on his commitment to Kentucky in July.
