North Carolina's Run Game Stalls in Charlottesville

The Oldest Rivalry in the South was determined by the ground game on Saturday. Virginia controlled the contest by not allowing Larry Fedora’s North Carolina offense to establish its rushing attack. Entering the game, the Tar Heels averaged 187.8 rushing yards per game at 5.0 yards-per-carry clip. The Cavaliers’ defense held UNC to 66 rushing yards on 22 carries.
