Vernon Carey adds official visit date, moves up timeline

Five-star big man Vernon Carey has scheduled a fifth fall official visit and has moved up his timeline to late November. Carey already has taken official visits to Kentucky, Duke and Miami. He’s slated to go to North Carolina this coming weekend and has now scheduled an official visit to Michigan State the weekend of Oct. 10. Carey met with Kentucky’s John Calipari on Monday.
