Tar Heels set for lone exhibition after Roy Williams' idea rebuffed

North Carolina’s men’s basketball team plays its first exhibition of the season Friday. Roy Williams wishes it wasn’t this way. He made a case for the Tar Heels facing South Carolina in an exhibition last month that would have been a fundraiser for Hurricane Florence relief. That idea was rebuffed, based on NCAA policy. “One of the few good ideas I have had,” Williams said.
