Shooting woes surprise Tar Heels in exhibition

North Carolina coach Roy Williams insists his team should be equipped to score from the perimeter this season. The eighth-ranked Tar Heels just didn’t show much of that in a 107-64 exhibition romp past Division II Mount Olive on Friday night at Smith Center. “You think we’re going to shoot better than that,” Williams said. The Tar Heels finished 3-for-13 on 3-point launches.
