UNC Wins Season Opener at Wofford

No. 8 North Carolina built a double-digit lead, lost a double-digit lead and pulled away late against a quality Wofford squad to secure a season-opening 78-67 road victory on Tuesday. All-American forward Luke Maye led all scorers with 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting and grabbed six rebounds, while sophomore forward Garrison Brooks scored a career-high 20 points.
