Given UNC’s 1-7 record, Saturday’s road trip to Duke offers an opportunity to flip the script and close the season with rivalry wins, first at Duke and then against N.C. State on Nov. 24. “The kids understand the importance of this game,” Larry Fedora said. “They know. They’ve been here. The freshmen who have come in, they’re the ones I’m talking to about the rivalry."
