Defending champion North Carolina suffered a shock 65-60 loss to George Mason and saw their dreams of another title end in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. North Carolina, a surprise contender this season after losing their top seven scorers from last year's title team, ran out of steam in the second half against George Mason, who held Tar Heels' standout Tyler Hansbrough to 10 points.
