Cole Holcomb's Improbable UNC Career Concludes on Senior Day

The plan was to walk-on at Duke, but when that option fell through, New Smyrna Beach football coach Lance Jenkins contacted various schools about his athletic, if not smallish, linebacker who had played safety the first half of his senior season. Cole Holcomb had a handful of FCS offers, although Jenkins thought his senior’s talent could make a dent at the FBS level.
