North Carolina and UCLA are meeting for the 12th time and the first since playing in the 2015 CBS Sports Classic in Brooklyn. UNC is 8-3 all-time against the Bruins. Roy Williams is 6-2, including 2-0 as head coach of the Tar Heels. Cameron Johnson surpassed the 1,000 career points mark with his 16 points against Texas in game one of the Las Vegas Invitational on Thursday.
