UNC Blows Past UCLA in Las Vegas

No. 7 North Carolina pulled away from No. 17 UCLA with a 16-2 run midway through the second half to secure a 94-78 victory in the Las Vegas Invitational on Friday. Cam Johnson’s three-pointer just before the halftime buzzer sparked a 19-8 run to give UNC a 57-54 lead with 15:34 to play. The Tar Heels played one of their best halves of the season in the second half.
