Tar Heels Fall in OT to NCSU in Season Finale

North Carolina suffered another tough defeat to cap a difficult season, falling to N.C. State 34-28 in overtime Saturday at Kenan Stadium. The Tar Heels took their first lead at 28-21 on a 1-yard touchdown run by Cade Fortin with 9:29 left in the fourth quarter, but they couldn’t hold on for the win. Reggie Gallaspy rushed for 129 yards and five touchdowns for N.C. State.
