UNC football falls to N.C. State in overtime, 34-28, to punctuate worst season since 2003
Posted Nov 24, 2018
The loss to NC State closes the book on UNC’s least-hopeful season in Larry Fedora’s seven years. The coach, who came in with a reputation for lighting up scoreboards, ends the season with his team averaging 27 points, 442 yards and 21 first downs per game — being outperformed by its opponents in all three categories. UNC’s two-win season is its worst since 2003.
