Larry Fedora stood before virtually every high school football coach in North Carolina back in the summer of 2012. He had their rapt attention, and he invited them all to go to Chapel Hill, use the film room, sit in for practices and become part of the family. It was a noble and empty gesture. And sitting here more than six years later, his words that day ring hollow.
